In the spring of 2020, ORACLE Lighting received the request to develop a flush mount taillight for the new Jeep JT Truck. The problem was brought to attention through the Jeep Gladiator owners, when a user riding the trials had his factory light smashed by a protruding rock. When scenario was posted online, more members expressed that they had also experienced similar situations with their truck.

 

With a lack of taillight options on the market, ORACLE Design Labs took the opportunity to develop a new solution that would minimize the tail light shape, as well as enhance other aspects of the light. Working through design iterations and feedback from the Gladiator community, the design team created a light that follows factory styling and new technology trends.
