Oracle Design Lab, a division of ORACLE Lighting, specializes in the design and manufacture of LED lighting solutions. We have a wide variety of experience in different sectors, including automotive, marine, recreational, ATV, architecture, lifestyle, and many more. We enjoy discussing different ideas on a regular basis and we look forward to hearing out your project.

What does the design process look like?

After initial discussions with one of our project managers, the idea is handed off to our design team. They cover design research, design sketching, computer rendering, 3D modeling, prototyping, engineering, and manufacturing. Throughout the various steps, we make sure to continually update our customers so that they are never lost in the design process.

Do you do Tier 1 automotive projects?

Yes, we have had the pleasure of working with a variety of Tier 1 automotive suppliers. Whether it be for conceptual purposes or for full production, our quality has been our top priority for every customer.

How do I start a project with the design team?

There are a couple of different steps to take when starting a project. One of the easiest ways is to fill out our contact form information. Upon acceptance, one of our representatives will reach out and talk about next steps.

Can I start a project if I have an idea in mind?

Accepted Answer

Any product idea can be considered when talking with the Oracle Design Team. Whether it be rough sketched out concept, or something that you could verbally explain, we enjoy collaborating with our customers to make sure there is a solid starting point for your product.

Can I use certain kinds of services?

How do I obtain a quote for my idea?

Accepted Answer

After initial discussion with one of our project managers, we will be able to assess how a project will move forward. An additional follow up discussion will provide quoting evaluations.

Can I pass off already developed data to the team?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once everything is discussed with the design team, data may be shared to benefit both parties in the development phase.

Can circuit designs be made for pre existing solutions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at Oracle Design Labs, we can replicate and make custom boards for your design needs.

Question 10

Will my inital design change throughout the design process?

Accepted Answer

Depending on where you're at in the process, some modifications may be necessary in order to comply with manufacturing. This generally takes place during CAD drafting and design development. There may be aesthetic improvements to the design as well, but only through approval from the project owner.

What does the manufacturing process look like?

In order to provide the most cost-effective solutions to our clients we offer a variety of manufacturing options from injection molding to vacuum-forming to 3D printing and more to best fit the applications. ORACLE Lighting can provide full turn-key solutions including assembly, QC testing, PPAP, down to package design.

Will all my intellectual properties be secure?

Yes. From the time ORACLE Lighting is contracted to work on your design, our Design Services Agreement goes further than a standard NDA. Assigning all rights to the work created during the project, including background intellectual property, to the client.
