In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Oracle Lighting was contracted to create a new type of face mask that has never been seen on the market. Thorough research, and rapid prototyping were used to bring the idea to life in a quick fashion. Because of the device, users are now able to breathe in confidence not only because they are protecting themselves, but they are also protecting the people surrounding them.
The AIR device is worn under any common face mask and uses a patent-pending system to sanitize the air. This system simultaneously neutralizes harmful contaminants trapped in the user's cloth face mask and disinfects the incoming air with the aid of short-wave ultraviolet (UVC) LED light exposure.
